Privacy Policy

This site belongs to Top Ops Consulting LLC, a Vermont operations consulting practice. This page describes what the site collects and what happens to it, in plain language, because that's how we'd want it explained to us.

What we collect.

When you fill in the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, your email address, the service you're interested in, and whatever you choose to share about your business.

Like most websites, this one also collects some basic information automatically as you browse: which pages you view, how you arrived, and general details about your device and browser. That happens through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it.

We use what you send through the form to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. We use the browsing information to understand how the site is used, to improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising. That can include showing our ads to people who have visited the site.

Who else is involved.

We don't sell or rent your information. We do rely on outside services to run the business, such as website hosting, customer management, analytics, and advertising platforms. They handle information on our behalf, and some of them collect it directly through the technologies mentioned above and use it under their own privacy policies.

Your choices.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Most advertising platforms let you turn off personalized ads in your account settings with them. If you'd like to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, ask and we'll take care of it.

Email.

If you write to us, through the form or directly at hello@top-ops.consulting, we keep the correspondence the way any business keeps its mail. If you'd like something you sent deleted, ask and we'll delete it.

Changes.

If our practices change, this page changes with them. This version was written in October 2026.
